The return of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, one of
America's most celebrated celebrations, to its first full seven days
of programming since 2005 has inspired Festival organizers to assemble
the deepest overall mix of rhythm & blues, rock, jazz, country, blues,
gospel, world beat, and more in the 39-year history of the event.
Some of the OKOM performers are: Banu Gibson, Preservation Hall,
Original Dixieland Jazz Band, Count Basie Band, Dr. Michael White
tribute to George Lewis, Tuxedo Brass Band, Crescent City Jazz Band,
Harlem Blues and Jazz Band, Pete Fountain, Tim Laughlin, Lars Edegran
N.O. Ragtime Orch, Palm Court Jazz Band, Hot Club of N.O., Dukes of
Dixieland, Trombone Shorty, Butch Thompson, N.O.Jazz Ramblers, Dirty
Dozen Brass Band, New Leviathan Foxtrot Orch, Don Vappie, Evan
Christopher, Rebirth Brass Band, Bela Fleck, PLUS OTHERS, like Tuba
Woodshed and clarinetist Joe Torregano.

The place will be packed, but it looks like a party to me. Let the
Good Times Roll.
Cheers,
Steve Barbone
