[Dixielandjazz] SF Bay Area: Jelly Roll Jazz Band tonight & Sunday

Those in the San Francisco Bay area have the opportunity to hear the two
different incarnations of Ted Shafer's Jelly Roll Jazz Band tonight and
Sunday.

The six-piece Jelly Roll Jazz Band will be playing their regular weekly gig
tonight, Saturday, January 12, from 7 - 10 PM at the Manna Thai Restaurant
at 414 Ferry Street in downtown Martinez, CA.  The restaurant's "back room"
has a small stage and a nice dance floor. 

The nine-piece edition of the Jelly Roll Jazz Band will be appear on Sunday
afternoon, January 13, from 1 - 5 PM at the monthly meeting of the Napa
Valley Dixieland Society.  The Society meets on the second Sunday afternoon
of each month at "The Lodge," 2840 Soscol Avenue, Napa.  [It's the Elks
Lodge, but they're not supposed to advertise it that way because it isn't an
Elks function.] Again, there's a stage and a very large dance floor.

Food and beverages of various kinds are available at both venues.
