On the subject of transcribing. I have just got the latest version
of Band In A box and they have revamped the auto chord detector
thing. You point it at an audio file (.wav, .mp3 etc.) and it
works out the tempo, bars and chords. I've only had a quick
play with it, but it seems to cope quite well.

Probably not very useful for those of you with experienced ears,
but for those like me that are still learning, it does point me
in the right direction.

Maybe it will speed up your transcribing Craig.
