-----------------
a snip: (Pamela) Brandon delivers a bit of bravado and a blast of
steam as she plays with Belle Monroe & Her Brewglass Boys, a San
Francisco bluegrass band. Raw and sultry with bedroom eyes, she's the
"Belle" in the group title - a wink to bluegrass forefather Bill
Monroe and His Blue Grass Boys.

She's also the lead vocalist for Lost Weekend, a 12-piece Western
swing band.

Amazingly, Brandon juggles both bands with her day job as a
structural engineer. Isn't there some kind of disconnect between
belting out "Columbus Stockade Blues" by night and project-managing
an engineering team at the new Academy of Sciences building by day?

----------------
anyway - worth a read!
