The latest - Feb-March - Hot Jazz Channel show is slightly unusual in that
by featuring a more international choice of musician and bands the show
takes a virtual world tour. Included this month are America's Galvanised
Jazz Band with British guest Sammy Rimington, central England's The Old
Fashioned Love Band, Toronto's Happy Pals with British guest Brian Carrick,
the West Coast USA Davy Jones Dixie Rovers, the George Huxley Jazzmen (UK),
the Peruna Jazzmen from Holland and John Henry McNeil's Band, the Kid
Thomas-George Lewis Ragtime Stompers and Kid Ory's Creole Jazz Band - all
from New Orleans. Canadian guitarist Jeff Healey brings us his unique take
on jazz as do Americans the Ruby Braff Quartet and the Louis Jordan Band.
>From Scandinavia we feature Peter Nissen's New Orleans Jazz Band with guests
Big Bill Bissonnette (USA) and Sammy Rimington (UK) whilst Australian Trevor
Rippingdale teams up with the American Smith Street Society band. West Coast
America's legendary Salty Dogs weigh in with a track as do San Antonio's Jim
Cullum Band with Topsy Chapman. Czechoslovakia's Junior Dixieland Band show
us how well they are coming on and the finale to our show is provided by
Phil Crumley and the Natural Gas Band with a track from their Silver Jubilee
CD - New Orleans Stomp.

The Hot Jazz Channel shows - are devised and produced by Brian Harvey and
engineered by John Booth.
