Dear John,
Apologies for the delay in replying.
Your email was buried well down my inbox.
Yes, there is trad jazz in Sydney but, as usual with most cities
nowadays, only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
As Sydney is a large city where you stay may also affect your choices.
Although, based on the above dates, you won't have too many.
• Friday 29th Feb:
1. Listmate Dan Hardie's Sydney Jazz Club presentation of 'Songs That
Buddy Bolden Played' at Drummoyne
2. The Unity Hall Jazz Band at Balmain.
3. Bridge City Jazz Band at Ashfield.
• Sunday 9th March:
1. The Robbers Dogs Jazz Band at The Rocks in the city (near Circular
Quay).
2. Bill Dudley's New Orleanians at Strawberry Hills.
3. Unity Hall Jazz Band at Balmain.
Plus the following for which I don't have the bands for 9th March
4. Cronulla RSL Club.
5. Ramsgate RSL Club.
6. Redfern RSL Club.
For full details contact me off list for my telephone number closer to
your arrival in Sydney.
I should have more details by then.
Kind regards,
Bill.
