I've just heard that a recording I worked on recently (engineering) has been
voted amongst the top best ten recordings "in the world" in Germany. The
music is by the Spanish composer Don Juan Oliver Astorga (1733-1830).

The recording involved various period flutes, violins, guitar, organ, bass &
percussion, mostly instruments from that period...and, many having been
restored by the producer I work with. Accompaning the CD is a 130 page
booklet covering all the history of the life of the composer, his music &
instruments (in Spanish only). This is the 3rd time we (the producer &
myself) have been awarded a similar honor.

de-murcia-ii/?pag=6 more info, but in Spanish only.

Just to let you all know I'm not "whistling Dixie" all day! :>

Jim
