That was a different program. The one I was referring to was called
Show Of The Week - Louis Armstrong and was a recording done during
his 1968 UK tour.

It looks like the BBC had quite a night of Jazz. There were several
programs that night. Unfortunately not all are available on their
iPlayer. It looks like it is worth keeping an eye on the BBC 4
schedules.
