I heartily agree about the Dismuke site. There are actually three different locations for music. Radio Dismuke, http://www.dismuke.org/radio/<http://www.dismuke.org/radio/>, is a continuous music stream with dance, vocal, and jazz from about 1920-35 along with some vintage radio commercials. In addition, Dismuke has had auctions of vintage recordings (from cylinders to rare rock 'n' roll 78 rpm records) from Nauck's Vintage Records in Texas along with special live broadcasts on New Year's Eve.
Dismuke's Hit of the Week, http://www.dismuke.org/how/<http://www.dismuke.org/how/>, started as a weekly feature but has become more irregular as time has passed. I spent a week or so a few years ago playing all of the archived recordings. Like everything else Dismuke, DHOW features 1920-35 (approximately) dance, vocal, and jazz. In addition, he also has "Extras" that don't fit into these categories, such as music from 1900-1920, operetta music, European dance bands, etc.
Finally there are his audio files which are divided into 1920s-30s dance music and turn of the century music, http://www.dismuke.org/Acoustic/index.html<http://www.dismuke.org/Acoustic/index.html>. I like to check out the message board. Two of the boards are of particular interest to me: the 1920s-30s music and early 20th century general topics. Our own Hans Koert posts links to his web site along with background information of the former.

some person who just goes by the name Dismuke (no other name) from the
Dallas Ft. Worth area.
Nice site for old music!
