[Dixielandjazz] R.I.P. Nadine Jansen

Nadine Jansen was a very talented pianist and fluegelhornist who 
achieved national fame when touring with the Horace Heidt show. 
Originally from Sacramento, Californiawhere she played for several 
years,  Jansen later settled in the Phoenix area and played there for 
several decades. After retiring she returned to Sacramento and passed 
away there.

Jansen was a guest on the Marian McPartland Piano Jazz show. She 
frequently played fueglehorn and piano at the same time, both with 
excellent skill and taste.
