I am assured that George W Bush waved to Stevie Wonder when the latter came onstage at a concert Dubya was attending. The anecdote makes no mention of Dubya wanting Wonder to perform any specific song, different from the tale of the vocal Japanese.  Perhaps we don't want suggestions regarding what Dubya might have wanted the blind man to sing or play?
