there are two slower versions which define the lead quite well.
Fess Williams and His Royal Flush Orchestra from 12 Feb 1927
and
Fletcher Henderson and His Orchestra on 5 Feb 1931.
This one has a vocal by Louis Deppe and a nice chase chorus from 
trumpet man Bobby Stark and Coleman Hawkins.
