BTW,  is it

"Be SHAY" as most American's pronounce it?

"Be SHET " as most French pronounce it?

"BASH ay" as Sidney Bechet pronounced it?

Kind of like "Bar BONE" as I pronounce it now (because of the band  
name) , or "Bar BONI" as my wife pronounces it and I used to pronounce  
it, or "Bar BON eh" as my father and most Italians pronounced it.
