Drummer & Bandleader Bill Sargent Marks His 40th Year 
While His  Bands Celebrate A Quarter Century Of Music And  Entertainment. 

Sunday, November 18th marks 25 years of musical and  entertainment  
excellence 
in  Wisconsin by Bill Sargent and Bill  Sargent  Bands.
 
Over the years, the line-up of bands has  included 
- The Bill  Sargent Big Band 
- Bill Sargent’s Swing Kings 
- Bill Sargent’s Trad-Jazz  Rousers Dixieland  Band 
- Bill Sargent’s Custom Bands, including  various small  jazz, dance and 
gospel bands. 

The Milwaukee Journal said: "They're the tightest, most  solid  ensemble of 
expert musicians  Milwaukee may ever see. Sargent   shines . . ." 

Over the last quarter century, Bill’s bands have never  missed nor  canceled 
an engagement for any reason. 

Also, this year, Bill is celebrating his 40th year in the  music  business as 
a professional drummer. Bill has never missed an  engagement,  for any 
reason, 
in the complete 40 years! 

He began playing professionally at the age of 13. By 16,  he was  traveling 
with the world-famous Clyde McCoy. Over the past four  decades,  he has 
traveled 
and performed with many of the world’s most  famous bands and  musicians.

Bill Sargent Bands have performed at the top events and  venues  while 
employing the best musicians in  Wisconsin for 25 years.  While  doing so, 
Bill has 
consistently employed more musicians per  engagement (on  average) and 
provided 
more work for musicians in our  area over a longer period  of time than any 
other band in existence and  probably in the history of the  state of 
Wisconsin.

To commemorate both anniversaries, Bill along with his  Big Band  and 
Dixieland band will celebrate with a very special concert/dance   event on 
Sunday, 
November 18,  2007.  

The event will held in the ballroom of The Bavarian Inn  at 700  West 
Lexington  Boulevard in  Glendale,  Wisconsin. This is  the very same room 
and  date 
(25 years later) that Bill used to debut  his big  band. 

Featured will be Bill Sargent's Trad-Jazz Rousers  Dixieland Band  from 11 am 
to 2 pm. The Bill Sargent Big Band will perform  from 2 pm  to 6 pm. 

The Bavarian Inn will be making their wonderful food  available  and there 
will be ample room for dancing.

There is easy access   to the Bavarian Inn off Interstate 43 and ample free 
parking. Plenty of  hotel  rooms are nearby. 

Tickets for the whole day, 2 great bands, 7 hours of  music,  dancing, and
