Hi Steve,

I'd love it. The only problem is, over here in Israel most of the synagogues
are Orthodox, and they don't use instrumental music on Sabbath and holy
days.

Doctor Jazz does play at religious events where music is permitted. We
experiment with playing Jewish music with a Dixie feel. That will most
likely become a part of our repertoire. We also do a few Israeli pop tunes
that lend themselves to Dixie style.

You are right that there certainly is Jewish religious rock, rap, hip hop,
and just about anything that is popular with the younger set. So why not
jazz? We're working on it.
