The "fans" or "critics" who issued those complaints are idiots. They are the
ones musicians who, like Max Kaminsky said 70 years ago (and now me), state
unequivocally, are ruining jazz.
Bill Allred is both an EXCELLENT musician and an EXCELLENT Jazz musician. If
a few idiots can't hear that, well . . . you know the rest. <grin>
Golly gee, listen to Louis on "Ambassador Satch" soloing on Muskrat Ramble.
He plays several operatic quotes strung together which totally depart from
the melody. According to the "fans" above I guess Louis was uninteresting.
Give me a break!!!!!
