And since it's Halloween, you should be informed about the Lady in Red who  
haunts the Goldenrod:
 
Reputedly haunted by "Victoria", a Girl in a Red Dress who had  a quarrel 
with her Father about wanting to eventually being a Performer on the  Showboat. 
The upshot of the row was that she stormed off the boat (which was  their home) 
and went walking along the Riverfront Towpath. 
 
She was later found floating in the river having been attacked  and murdered 
by unknown assailants. Her Father died shortly afterwards of a  broken heart. 
 
Shortly after she died, Actors and Staff Members began to  report her 
presence. They claim that she is responsible for doors slamming and  items being 
moved about of their own (or her) volition.
