[Dixielandjazz] An Article on One Effort to Build Young Musicians

Since I'm not sure anyone, including me, would have tried to copy and paste  
the link I sent yesterday to this article I am now trying a couple of 
alternate  ways of providing a working link.  The article describes effort in St.  
Louis to find and encourage young jazz banjo players.  It is a good example  of 
the value of positive press as it was featured prominently in well-read  
suburban newspapers, circulation somewhere around 100,000 presumed.  Many  inquiries 
resulting.  Hopefully someone else will be inspired to organize a  similar 
effort to teach Dixieland to youth.  If anyone has a playable banjo  they would 
like to donate, you betcha' I would like to hear from you off  list.
