[Dixielandjazz] Pierre Guicquero in the NY area

Hi all,

Our trombone man, Pierre Guicquéro (http://pierre.guicquero.free.fr), is 
in hot search for a new ax.  Dillon Music and Manny's have been touted 
as "the places to go."  So, he would like to try to pass through the NY 
area between our Clearwater, FL and Las Vegas gigs this Nov.  That is, 
he would be in NY Mon Nov 19 and Tue Nov 20.

Is there a sofa in the area where he can crash?  Or, an ultra cheap 
hotel with a low cockroach count?  Is there any music those nights where 
he can listen and, perhaps, sit in?  He can read and oh can he play.

Pierre's English is fine.  I am writing this for him because it is hard 
writing in another language.  I ask him to write in French for me from 
time to time.
