[Dixielandjazz] Conversion to .wav files.

Sorry for the off-topic, but we've been down this road before, except 
this time I'll pay attention.

I used to use Easy CD Creator to convert audio (CD) files to .wav files. 
  I have since switched to Nero for CD creation, which does NOT have a 
"convert to .wav file" function.

Is there anything like freeware out there that does good conversions to 
.wav files?  That's my preferred method of archiving my recording projects.
