[Dixielandjazz] Turk Murphy

The recent thread on Turk Murphy has led me to listen to his 
music a lot more. I really like his ensembles; he plays with a 
lot of punch. Was he inspired by Kid Ory? The style sounds 
similar. I really haven't heard enough of him to really say. I 
bought the Turk Murphy favorites Vols 1 & 2. I really like how 
he plays "Trombone Rag".
