[Dixielandjazz] Austin All-Star Concert

Dear Listers:

If you are in the Austin area on the weekend of June 9-10, please check out the Austin Traditional Jazz Society All-Stars.  They will play on Sunday, June 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cap City Comedy Club, 8120 Research Boulevard.  For more information, see the Society website at www.atjs.org.

This year's All-Stars will be Bob Krenkel on soprano and bass saxes and clarinet, Larmon Maddox on cornet, Jon Doyle on tenor sax and clarinet, Max Lyon on trombone, Tommy Griffith on piano, John Gill on banjo and guitar, and Budge Mabry on drums.  There will also be a terrific tuba player, but modesty prevents me from mentioning his name!
