Hello all

I can only echo Bill Haesler's feelings about Mike's death. He was a
good bloke.

His contributions to jazz research are invaluable. When it came to "the
facts" about Australian jazz records, Mike was the man. I remember how
he would happily spend time on the phone, pulling out specific records,
and confirming or correcting the discographic details.

He will be missed.
