Dear friend,

Please be aware of our special Oscar Peterson Tribute concert coming up
THIS Sunday, May 20, 2007 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM in the Steinway
Hall at Hammell Music Showroom (at the corner of M-5 and Maple Road in
Commerce Township....that sounds like a long way out of town but really
it's not a bad drive to get there.) Pianist Steve Richko, drummer Pete
Siers and I (bassist Paul Keller) will be playing selections from our
new CD To Oscar, With Love: A Tribute To Oscar Peterson. We'll play
several Oscar Peterson compositions, a few fabulous Oscar arrangements
of standards, a few of our own arrangements in the Peterson style and
one tune composed by Steve Richko entitled To Oscar, With Love, a
heart-felt homage which demonstrates our affection and respect for
Oscar Peterson.

Admission is $10.00. CDs are $15.00 each. This concert benefits the ALS
Foundation which supports research to find a cure for Lou Gerhig's
Disease. (No, Oscar Peterson DOES NOT have ALS. However, the executive
producer of our CD and our generous benefactor Ian Mulhinch does. In
honor of his courageous battle with ALS a donation to the ALS society
will be made).

Hammell Music Showroom has over a million dollars worth of superb grand
pianos on display and for sale. Steve Richko will be playing one of
their very fine Steinway pianos. Pete Siers and I will be providing
support in the spirit of Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen.

There are several other music events happening on that day around Metro
Detroit and I'm afraid we may not have much of a crowd a Hammell Music.
If you can attend and/or spread the word to anyone who might want to
attend, I would surely appreciate that!
