[Dixielandjazz] Email lockup and meltdown

Dear friends,
Please bear with me on this one.
For the last three years or so, following the crash of my Outlook
Express application, I have been sending emails using the excellent 'MS
Entourage For Mac OS X' program.
The other day, helped in no small way by the vast amount of mail
generated by the DJML (and compounded by my penchant for keeping
everything) I finally reached the 4 Gigabyte storage limit allocated
for Entourage on my eMac hard drive.
Unfortunately, while 'rebuilding' the Entourage file to release some
disc space (Mac people will know what I mean), I've introduced a 'mail
error' bug and the nearly 80,000 (yes) received/sent/saved email
messages had been 'frozen' and I can't work out how to get at them.
Today, I managed, through my ISP, to connect up again using the
simpler, lesser, Apple <Mail> email program.
At least I can receive and send again, but have lost all your addresses
and messages, some of which contain important research information.
Until I can find out how to unlock and access the 'missing' Entourage
folders, I am lost and flying blind.
If I owe you a reply, or a CD or some-such, feel free to send me a
reminder, as I don't keep these things in my head anymore.
Kind regards,
Bill
