Yeah, that was Ted Brown Music.    They were the biggest music store when I was in school there.    That's where Dad bought my first clarinet while I was  in junior high in 1937.    It was a Preuffer, brand new, and cost him $135.     I felt so guilty that he paid so much for it I felt obligated to take lessons and learn how to play it.    Turned out my teacher later became the Superintendant of Music for Tacoma and he later had me playing first chair in high school and in the all-city orchestra.
