I would think that this uninhibited, talented, four year definitely
increased the crowd response. But so does the tune, Jambalaya with it's three chords
and driving beat. The point has been well made here before that mass
audiences have a deaf ear for music that grows too  complex.  It's about choices;
i.e., play what you (and selected target audiences) want to, or play what more
public audiences want to  hear.

Here's another YouTube, this one of adults who do very well entertaining
groups of all ages. You can see some of their sense of "play" and "fun" as they
entertain. This group now has a DVD out in which that is even more clear
than in this YouTube captured moment. The group is the Washboard Wizardz
(spelling correct). They market what they do as "hillbilly jazz". It will
probably not appeal to many on this list, but I'm told that when they play for the
more general public, rather than OKUM fans, entire audiences spontaneously
join in singing the  chorus.

This YouTube captured performance was filmed before a small group as will be
obvious.

What fun to see a 4 year old accordion player at a Country/Western concert.
Note the crowd reaction. If "J" gets hip to this scene, he may go C&W
because that's where the money, enthusiasm and young girls are. :-) VBG.
