NYC area jazz fans might find this concert interesting. Especially if
they've never been to The Apollo. It's for a worthy cause and The Apollo is
a legendary venue.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone

THE 6th ANNUAL - A GREAT NIGHT IN HARLEM - AT THE APOLLO THEATER

the heart. The Jazz Foundation is saving so many musicians in crisis.²
Elvis Costello

This year's concert will be a "History of the Music."
Never before done at the Apollo.

Proceeds will support the Jazz Foundation of America's Musicians'
Emergency Fund, which for 17 years has provided older jazz and blues
musicians with rent, pro bono medical care and social services.

Since Katrina, we¹ve assisted over 2,553 emergency cases with housing,
mortgage payments, rent, instruments and a one million dollar employment
program putting hundreds of New Orleans musicians back to work teaching,
performing concerts in schools and nursing homes in 8 states where they've
been forced to settle.

They spend their lives making us rich with their music. Now they need us.
