gigs. I just heard him on Saturday with a small group which included Jon 
Erik-Kelso and Dan Block. Itis always a pleasure to hear them sans scores.

  For those in the NYC Metropolitan area and/or Sanibel FL, who enjoy the
great music of Vince Giordano, see below schedule:

Wouldn't it be great if there was enough money in the OKOM scene to have
some Band Battles re-created by the Nighthawks and Bratislava? Like
Goldkette vs. Henderson, Goodman vs. Webb, Basie vs. Goodman etc. Given
their musical expertise, these could be fantastic events.

Note to Ray. you probably have heard the Nighthawks. If not, they are
performing relatively close to you this month.
