goes to the "Uptown Lowdown Jazz Band"...

2 reed players, each a marvel of talent & both played Bass Sax....

guys play like they are engaged in telekinesis....

Gad, did I enjoy this band. I hope you get a chance to hear them.>>

They are great.

But what's even better is when Pieter Meijers joins them with his bass sax;
then there are THREE.

So watch for festivals where both ULJB and either Pieter's quartet or High
Sierra are in the line-up and try to convince the director to have an "Apostles
 of Sax" set, in which Pieter sits in with ULJB.

The three reed players will be PETER, PAUL Woltz and JOHN Goodrich--Peter,
Paul, and John, Hence the "Apostles" of sax!

They have at least one CD out and I can tell you it made my sub-woofer walk
across the floor :-)

Both groups will be at the San Diego Thanksgiving festival and on the
adjoining 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise. Oh happy Day!
