Perhaps one of the most musical drummers around is Joe Morello. See below
YouTube for "Sounds of the Loop" with Brubeck back in 1964. Seeing him live
many times a half century ago ranks among the greatest experiences in my
life and I'm not a drummer. He's playing music on the drums as I hear it.
