I think SNZ illustrate how to sell swing/trad music without compromising 
it too much.  They're a bit campy, but not disrespectful IMO.   There is 
a swing group in my area that has and excellent female singer, a sax, 
electric bass and drums.  The guitarist plays a fender telecaster and he 
segues between rock shredding and legitimate jazz soloing in an 
instant.  The kids love them.
