Regarding the article in the Sacramento News and Review, you just  have to 
bite your tongue and consider the source:  SSN&R is a  profoundly left wing, 
throwaway, trash bin liner, rag which I read every  Thursday, in order to keep up 
with the enemy.  A major source of  SN&R income is the many pages of sleazy 
escort ("massage") ads which  the Sacramento Bee would never print.  Their 
readership is mainly, as  you would expect, the drug-oriented, tattooed, 
underachievers who mostly  wouldn't be caught dead attending anything as clean as the 
Sacramento Jazz  Jubilee.
 
Jill's response was spot on, of course.  Good for her.   However, bad press 
from the SN&R is really a huge plus; the few of  their readership who would buy 
a ticket to our festival just aren't worth  the extra cops that would be 
required to keep an eye on them!
