[Dixielandjazz] Sound Check from Hell

Here's why you need a sound check. <grin>

Below is our sound check at a recent concert. The guy who put it up on
youtube had to leave after taping it and so he put the sound check song up.

This was an inexperienced sub on the sound board. After my solo I went to
the board to correct the mix. He was very flustered and couldn't just flip
the switches etc., like Mad Dawg would.

Previously when he had set the levels, I had been assured that the mix would
be OK and they could easily adjust on the fly. Yeah, Right!!!!

We did get it corrected and properly balanced by about 5 minutes after this
sound check song was played.
