If you would like to have a fistful of Louis Armstrong solo transcriptions, including West End Blues, check the Jamey Aebersold website (www.aebersold.com/) and order Great Trumpet Solos of Louis Armstrong, transcribed and edited by Peter Ecklund.  This book costs $15.00 and contains transcriptions of 47 solos.

While we're on the subject of solo transcriptions, Peter Ecklund has also done Great Cornet Solos of Bix Beiderbecke.  It contains 27 solo transcriptions and costs $9.95.  For those of you who are not familiar with him, Peter Ecklund is a fine jazz cornet player.
