Dear Kent,
The short answer is - No.
And it doesn't show up on <pdinfo.com>
To qualify "music and lyrics must be published in 1922 or earlier to be
in the Public Domain in the United States.
No one can claim ownership of a song in the public domain, therefore
public domain songs may be used by anyone. Sound recordings, however,
are protected separately from musical compositions. There are no sound
recordings in the Public Domain in the USA. If you need a sound
recording - even a recording of a public domain song - you will either
have to record it yourself or license one."
Note that the correct spelling for the composition is "Milenberg Joys".
It was first recorded by the New Orleans Rhythm Kings on 18 July 1923
and copyrighted about that time using a misspelling of the name of the
old summer resort of Milneburg near New Orleans.
Kind regards,
Bill.
