Interesting, Diann -- Thanks.    Yes, I knew Davis had died, sadly.    But who is the exBobCat player you mentioned in the Bilmar band ?    Sorry, we'll probably never get to see you at the Bilmar.    We live in Sacramento and probably never will get to Florida again.    I did sit in with Frank and the band at the Bilmar when our band, Fulton Street, played the Clearwater jazz festival many years ago.   It was great fun.

  Al Davis passed away a couple years ago ( age 88 yrs.) He was in another band down at the same time ( J.B.Rare Jazz Quartet) I remember Al well because I played my banjo with them.That band also had a former big band drummer ( Vern Glaeser) ,he was with Boyd Raeburn and Dick Jurgens among others. Yes I'll give my best to Frank. See you around the Bilmar.--Diann
