But you can throw in some oysters and shrimp, and hot sausage and make some pretty tasty Gumbo. :))  And for you vegetarians on the list make sure that it comes form organic corn fed Chickens.  :))


Perhaps PHJB has finally realized that and are making efforts to get better players with more fire energy and enthusiasm for the music as it should be played,  I think it is step in the right direction for them since they have apparently slipped greatly in the eyes and ears of many from what the original band apparently was at several points of their existence.

And the audience is continuing to dwindle for that particular style of N.O. Music as the older fans pass on, Therefore they like all the rest of us that wish to continue in this business almost always have to make concessions and adjustments to the marketplace and  to attract and build and retain the new audiences.

Who has on occasion found PHJB, and a lot of other Dixieland bands, to be just as appalling as Marek finds Rebirth,  I do however appreciate All music if it is played Good, but I have little tolerance to sit around and listen to Chicken S**t music of any genre.
