the SECOND Sunday of each month. The program, which starts at 1:00 PM
and lasts until 5:00 PM, has 3 sets by the featured band alternating
with 3 jam sets. Jam Set musicians are welcome!

Playing joyful classic jazz from the foot-stomping roaring twenties,
this fine band has been featured at the Sacramento Jubilee, the Fairmont
on Nob Hill, jazz festivals and clubs all over the Golden State, and has
had a long residency at the historic Baltic Restaurant in Point
Richmond. Mike Foley of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society says,
"These guys play the real thing!"

Expect some great King Oliver tunes from a two-cornet lineup of Mike
Slack and Tom Barnebey, together with superb vocals by singer Darby.

Formed in 1993, the San Francisco Feetwarmers' repertoire spans the
wonderful music of Morton, King Oliver, Bechet, Armstrong, Fats Waller
and early Ellington. They will get your toes tapping, put a smile on
your face and their driving four beat rhythm will get you dancing to all
your Dixieland and New Orleans favorites.

San Francisco Feetwarmers ... that's an unusual name? Not when you
recall the great Sidney Bechet's New Orleans Feetwarmers and Duke
Ellington's Harlem Feetwarmers. It is the perfect name for a band known
for playing classic jazz with a touch of class.

One month later, NVDJS will feature the Catsnjammer Jazz Band on
Sunday, March 11th, 2007 from 1-5 PM at the same location.

Spacious Dance Floor. The lodge has Food and a Full Bar.
