Criss wrote regarding the Shakeys he was exposed to Jazz in while growing

I made my living playing in Shakeys type places during the 60s & 70s. Some
were actually Shakeys & others were similar.

I worked 5 nights a week in a place called Capone's Chicago Tea Room & Pizza
joint.

It was definately not a family place. But we had a great time.

I suspect that, one of these days the Shakeys concept type place will come
back.

I think some enterprising young business man will realize that there is a
market for it.

Just think of all of the grand parents & parents who used to go to such
places now taking their off-springs to such a place.

I think it will happen one of these days.
