[Dixielandjazz] whistling

What ARE they watching ??

Mr. ROGERS ALWAYS WHISTLED AND I RECALL THEY ALSO HAD IT ON SESAME 
STREET SHOWS,

I remember my Father was a guy who whistled all the time, unfortunately 
he only seemed to know one song, :))

"I didn't know God Made Honky Tonk Angels"  till my church going  
mother taught him   " I saw the Light", after that I only heard him 
whistle Honky Tonk Angels outside when she was not around >:))

So far two of my grandsons are whistlers  when you can get the Gameboy 
away from them and take 'em on a hike or fishing.

I tell them whistling will bring the fish in to their hooks, :))

   There was a story recently in one of the big papers --
maybe the NY Times -- about how kids spend all their
time in fromt of the TV and don't learn simple things
we took for granted, like learning to whistle...
