[Dixielandjazz] The guitar comp

A short while ago there was a discussion of  using "shell" chords on the 
guitar to create a loud acoustic comp.  I have an example of this at 
Youtube.com for those who are interested.  I'm not sure who invented 
this or when, but I know how it came about because I stumbled on the 
idea on my own when I was playing with a big band in college.
