[Dixielandjazz] Kenton head arrangement?

I was in a large antiques mall over the weekend and found a three-CD set of the '40s Kenton band (in fact it was part of Mosaic's 7-CD set). 'Twas a bargain at 5 pounds.
   
  The superlative Peanut Vendor is included in the playlist but a check of the liner notes claimed that it was a head arrangement - I find that very hard to believe. I'll bet that somebody scored it.
