We went to the Bilmar Hotel Beach Bar on Treasure Island in Florida  last night and heard the Traditional group that has played there for many years on Wednesday nights.  Excellent crowd, of course mostly older folks, but responsive and listening for the most part.
   
  Players names as follows:  Bobby Tess; Coronet, Bert Kemper; Clarinet, Paul O'Connell (or maybe O'Conner); Trombone and Leader, John Lamb; Bass, Frank Thompson; Piano, and Roger Adkins; Drums.  Not sure of all the spellings.
   
  Nice evening of OKOM, trad and swing tunes and here is the really neat thing about this group and location.  Last nite was their 3,976th Wednesday Evening Gig at this location!  Not many groups can claim this!  YES, the number 3,976 is not a typo!
