Jim played for many years at Rosy O'Gradies in Orlando FL.  During that 
time, he led the band for a couple of years.

For a short time Rosie O'Grady's band was the house band for a local weekly
TV show in Orlando.  The shows were terrible and the series didn't last very
long, but one of the shows had Frankie Laine as a guest.

I was very impressed with him because he seemed like a genuinely good 
guy....no
pretense, no big-star image, just a straight-ahead guy telling his story.

He came over and talked to the band also and was the same off camera as on.
I'm glad I got to meet him.
