I love it when piano players say things like that.  You ought see me trying 
to reach a tenth . . . and my hands are bigger than Ringwalds!

I don't know how Bob does it, but I swear there are times when he can span 
two octaves!

And that's just between his thumb and index finger! (rimshot!)
