[Dixielandjazz] Frankie Laine

When I got out of the navy in 1961 one of the first gigs I played was 
subbing on the Frankie Laine Show as he did a concert in Bakersfield.  
They had an afternoon rehearsal and the musical director kicked off the 
tune at about 250 beats per and until I realized that we were in two, 
it kicked my butt.  Figured it out, made amends and enjoyed the show 
both as a player and as a listener.  Had a real appreciation for 
Frankie Laine after that.
