 Vince is the master of this genre. They play from stock arrangements and original transcriptions done by arrangers steeped in the tradition. With sidemen like Kelso, Levinson , Sandke the group is really second-to-none.
 
 The venue itself is very nice, with the food being a cut above the usual club fare. Be prepared for an expensive night - $30pp cover and a $10pp minimum makes it $80 for a couple to walk in the door. Add an entree and a glass of wine and you are at $150 easy. It is well worth it, though - You enter at 7:00pm and leave at 10:30. In NYC, an entire evening's entertainment and dinner for $150 ain't so bad. Plan on staying for both sets, as the club usually offers an 'incentive' for those who do.
 
 I can't make it this week, but plan on going to a show or two later in the month. If anyone plans on attending, perhaps we organize a field trip for local folk to meet up there.

If in NYC area, fall by the Iridium and see Vince Giordano's wonderful band.
It is the hot dance of the 1920s-30s at its very best. Charts used are the
originals (Vince has about 20,000 pieces of sheet music) and the musicians
are the cream of the crop.

And Les Paul every Monday? Simple Superb.
