Seventy-two (72) year ago, the 4th of February 1935, the most important
recordings in the Dutch jazz history of the 1930s were made in The Hague.
The great American tenor saxophone player Coleman Hawkins, who should
develop himself into the most important tenor player of the XXth century,
link between the traditional swing and modern jazz bebop styles, made five
recordings for Decca with the Ramblers Dance Orchestra, who became
internationally famous with these recordings.
Time for a party.............. ?
