After seeing all the posts about playing vinyl records, I couldn't resist
sending this.

Some years ago I purchased some of the "Hokie Pokie Sound  Machines" to give
away as a Christmas gag gift.  The thing actually works but it produces for
entertainment than fidelity.  Following is a recent ad for one on Craig's
list.

"The Hokie Pokie Sound Machine
is   The Worlds Dumbest Record Player.

I know its hard to believe but this cute little ice cream truck drives
around on a record and plays the music through a small speaker mounted under
the roof.

*The head lights are illuminated and glow a "Bright Orange".
*The unit is efficiently rear wheel powered by a 9 volt transistor battery
{defiantly NOT included} and plays 33 1/3, 45, AND 78 RPM records while
driving around in a circle.
*It has a stylus mounted under the front wheels that adjusts for record
speeds and the antenna is the on switch when placed in the UP position"

Is this a great list or what?
